Ce petit scenario m’a fait rire – c’est complètement dément, une sorte de mélange détonant entre la mythologie grecque et Alice au Pays des Merveilles, où les vêtements deviennent des costumes héroïques à part entière. Héraclès a une allure folle (j’adore la posture en arabesque) et son ami le Titan ressemble à un dandy, gracieux tel un danseur de ballet. «Oubliez vos ardeurs et ayez fière allure» sera définitivement ma phrase du jour ! D’ailleurs, cela pourrait bien être la phrase de la semaine pour Tank aussi… This little scenario made me laugh – it’s utterly charming and a delightful confection of greek myth and Alice In Wonderland wherein the clothes become heroic costumes. Heracles is full of attitude (I love his stance for the Arabesque) and his titanic friend is something of a dandy; standing with the grace of a ballet dancer. “Forget your fervour and walk with pride” will be my mantra for the day. | Caroline Issa est directrice de la publication et éditrice du magazine londonien Tank. Depuis son lancement en 1998, le magazine se distingue par son format et son contenu avant-gardiste mode, life style et culturel. Tank est aujourd’hui un magazine référence ; Caroline Issa et son associé Masoud Golsorkhi, qui tient toute la direction artistique du magazine, sont extrêmement sollicités. En 2007, Caroline est membre du jury mode du festival d’Hyères – plus tard, les deux collaborateurs font partie des personnalités qui ont l’opportunité de sélectionner les photographes mode de demain lors des Rencontres d’Arles. Dans le monde de la mode, Caroline Issa est connue pour son style branché et on la retrouve sur les incontournables blogs de Garance Doré, Jak & Jil ou encore The Sartorialist qui saluent ses tenues lors des Fashion Weeks. Au-delà du magazine, Caroline Issa a su développer une partie online avec le blog de Tank et Tank TV, un projet qui ajoute une autre dimension à la version papier, engageant un dialogue direct avec les artistes et proposant aux inscrits des vidéos inédites de performances et happenings. On retrouve entre autres les artistes Paul Mc Carthy, Steve Reinke ou encore Laeticia Benat… Tank TV est aujourd’hui diffusée à la Tate Modern à Londres. Tank est un nid à idées et fait parti de nos magazines fétiches chez LFG – nous avions envie de faire réagir Caroline Issa sur le Little Fashion Book et espérons mettre en place rapidement d’autres collaborations ! Caroline Issa is publication director and editor of the London magazine Tank.
